At Central Coast Batteries, we can recycle all types of batteries at our Long Jetty store. Did you know that lead acid batteries are up to 95% recyclable and can be remade into new batteries?

Every year, over 8,000 tonnes of batteries go into landfill. Not only is this unnecessary waste, but many batteries contain harmful elements such as heavy metals, nickel, cadmium and mercury, which can pollute soil and water. To help protect our environment and wildlife, remember not to dispose your batteries in your bin! Drop into our store and let us take care of your used batteries instead.

As Central Coast’s one stop battery shop, you can drop off your used batteries and pick up new ones all in one go. There’s no legislation or government incentive for retailers that participate in battery recycling - we do it simply because we care.
